In August of 2009, the work continued on this peaceful and beautiful home.
We had to dig up 12' of dirt to create a strong base for the foundation. Due to a nearby wash and a threat of a flash flood, we had to make reinforcements on the design. Water in the desert is rare indeed, but when there is rain and the rivers flow, it can truly be a dangerous situation.
All the earth removed was saved for reuse as well as every single little rock.
